just installed YIM ... yahoo instant messenger and its feked up my internet settin and i cant out em back to normal .....

when i open internet explorer i get a browser open nps can veiw web but if i click internet explorer again instead of a new window i get the same old window refreshed .....

even if i right click a link and select open in new window its just opens it in the window im lookin in not a new 1 ... beeen lookin for a solution for 1 hr and really stuck ... can any1 elp meh

delete yahoo.

In IE,

tools -> internet options -> advanced tab -> restore defaults.

if not try re-installing IE

easiest way to check i guess.

also try searching in the knowledge base section of Microsloth might have something there but i cba atm as i'm going home in a min

searched the database and its like lookin for a needle in a haystack ... anyway i re-installed windows and all ok now ..

pain int he arse reinstalling windoze though :/ 30 minutes of non-gaming time
