Advice Windows for the cheap?

For those in the know, what's the cheapest, legit way for me to get a copy of Windows 8? I've seen lots of OEM stuff on ebay, and as far as I know this is the cheapest way of doing it, even if sometimes it means they send some faulty RAM or something for the hardware part of the deal.

Pretty much OEM. I'd not touch eBay though.

If you've got an old version somewhere you could get the upgrade for less.
