I seem to be getting a weird problem with Windows Defender :( I log on via my user profile which is set to Administrator Priviledges, but it is not the default Admin account you setup when installing Windows.

Nah, that's not full admin. Full admin doesn't do that.

My Dad's business partner gets that shit because I have to have him on limited access. Try adding the program with your full account.

if i log on as the proper admin, the message does not appear on startup. If i go into the menu, I cannot see an Add option :(

Heya MYstIC G,

I have tried a clean boot, removed and re-installed the software (also on the full admin profile) but it still occurs when using my personal profile.

Any ideas?

Can't run it on this box as i've switched to security essentials. Maybe try that?

Getting the impression this is one of those problems that can't be fixed. Think Logitech will need to speak to Microsoft to have this program allowed otherwise lots of people will end up using different programs.

Thanks for the Security Essentials tip.
