Hello!

So I recently managed to pick up a copy of W7 Ultimate 64x.
I got all excited about installing, but of course as you do, you always have a check around on forums and stuff for problems etc.

I have a Netgear WG311v3, and using the Windows 7 upgrade advisor, it notifies me that my bloody wireless card won't work. So I checked around everywhere, and it seems everyone with a netgear card are experiencing trouble getting it to work. There is a workaround apparently, but I was just wondering if anyone else has these problems and what they did to fix/work-around it.

Is it worth the hassle? I've only heard good things about W7 so far, and I think its a really poor show that Netgear havn't even released compatible drivers seemingly.

Thanks for your help!

P.

/edit apologies if there has been topics on a similiar subject, I looked in the "win7 experiences" thread, but couldn't see any definitive answers etc.

Just a stab in the dark, you could try installing your old drivers in vista/xp compatability mode.

I needed to do that for my roland keyboard, did the trick...
