Windows 2000 server policies

I'm trying to set up a server at work so that it doesnt apply a desktop policy when you log on to the domain. i.e. if someone logs on to the domain with a pc, it doesnt overwrite all the icons and use the domain profile desktop icons.

We need it both ways because people log on to local machines, do some work, then log on to citrix (terminal services) and in *that* we need the policy to apply. It's all on the same domain.

It's a very simple thing to do, I'm sure.. but the retards at my office can't work it out. They've been working on it for months, I'm ashamed :/

Anyway, any help would be muchley appreciated.

You mean you have a Policy setup but you don't want it applied to the server or that you are trying to setup a policy?

The policy is set up, but I only want it to apply to terminal services, *not* every time someone logs on to the domain.
