Win98 Laptop coming out of hibernation

Ive just had a phone call from someone booting up their laptop. They say on the screen after turning it on it gives them the message 'Restore Hibernated State press control, alt + delete'. I cant find anything on the internet about this message. It doesnt matter what he tries he cant seem to get it out of this. Is there any way to get round this? Power off and back on results in going back into hibnation.

Only thing on Google I found was a German forum where someone was posting this. Translated into...

a friend has a Compaq Armada E500 Notebook.

There the Compaq Logo comes then stands to for remainder O-ring Hibernated State toilet briefly presses above STRF+ALT+ENTF to switching on on

Continues to pass nix. Even if one the key sequence does not press.

Does someone have ne notion which be there could?

Funnily enough its the same laptop in question.

I got a Compaq laptop. Evo though, not Armada, but similar. Although I recently had it upgraded to Win2k. And I had hibernation turned off, so never used it.

Which probably doesn't help much does it :/
