Win2k & XP pro combatability Questions

I've currently got Win2k pro on my pc - it's fine for almost everything I use it for. Only falls short when playing Unreal engine based games, as I have to use OpenGL instead of D3D

Anyway, I've been thinking about getting XP pro, as my bro has it on his machine, and he says it's way better than Win2000 pro.

I've got a 60 gig partition sitting unformatted at the moment - I was thinking of slapping XP on it, to give it a whirl

Question is - if I install XP on my D drive, will I still be able to access all the stuff on my C drive?

Yup. No problem getting to your old stuff. The XP install will put in a dual-boot setting so you can load Win2k as before, and provided you ask it NOT to upgrade from 2k to XP, it'll leave the 2k setup alone...
