Win ME + Win 2000

Hi,
Sorry, this may sound really dumb (it prolly is ) but are Windows ME and Windows 2000 the same thing? I been wondering this for a while and I keep hearing that there r problems with T2 on Win2000.
Also, can you tell me if my Pc will handle T2 okay?

i have:
Athlon 1Ghz ,TNT2 (32MB), 128 MB SDRAM, Win ME

Win ME and Win 2000 are different and dont feel silly for asking .

Those specs should run it ok but T2 is a HOG on systems.
Try the default settings but you might have to tweak it a bit to improve FPS.

Hairy I have exact same system and it runs ok on mine I get 30 fps most of the time which Im happy with =)

i think T2 is ok on win2000 but not on systems that have dual OS's. well, thats my experience....

Almost exactly the same system, 800Mhz instead of 1 gig, and 256k Ram instead of 128, but it runs fine for me

If you need to swap anything out (and have spare cash) a GeFarce 2 MX would spruce your Graphix performance up a fair bit - you can pick em up for under 70 quid

increase ram to 256 helps a LOT
Totally solved my redjacking, and I actually join a game BEFORE it startsa, not 20 secs into it
