just higher your cm prices on pryd aswell until you see the excal prices and adjust after them, prices will probably drop since the market will get so much bigger

and for rvr think it will work out great, more players, more grouping possibilitys than it is at the moment!

i think it'll be a good thing. the cm prices will balance out and i don't think over the long run the prices will increase much, if at all. you'll have 2 of each arti enc's, loads more ppl farming so the items should lose thier high value somewhat. albs on excal seem to have a somewhat different view of how rvr should be played comparred to pry. they seem to like irvr as much as the next guy but not in thier own realm so perhaps we'll see less of the mids/hibs having control over berks and eras.
rvr is gonna be a lot harder but i wouldn't say less fun. more ppl will mean a lot more grps roaming, taking towers/keeps. the ones it may effect the most will be the solo'ers who may find themselves moe'd over cuz they were in the way. for them i think it's gonna be the hardest. and since i solo more often than not i guess that means i'm kinda screwed but hey, just means that each rp i get i'll know i've worked for it

I've got to say this is true having been leveling on Mid/Pry from my usual place on Alb/Excal though I think on Alb that is down to necro's tbh. Necro's have killed Alb for arties, grouping etc.
Not sure if its the same on Alb/Pry.

As a passing point are you sure the prices are different on Mid Excal/Pry? I checked on Alb Excal/Pry and they were almost exactly the same.

Personally, I think that the RvR climate on Excalibur has maintained a high competitive factor recently, whereas Prydwen's RvR scene deteriorated after ToA and (especially) NF simply due to the population decrease. High competition promotes high "skill" (or rather, keeps the people playing at the best of their abilities), and in that regard, Prydwen RvR groups have been slacking lately. Even if Prydwen was without a doubt the most competitive FGvsFG server before NF, I believe the situation has changed now and Excalibur has pulled ahead.

There are some painful weeks inc for the Prydwen RvR groups as they adapt to a harsher RvR climate in the cluster--initially, I believe the Excalibur gank groups will dominate. (Having said that, I also believe there will be good RPs to be had by all, on account of the marked upswing in RvR activity that the cluster will bring.)
