If we're getting into semi-realistic stuff, a cheap option is the Tactical Ops* mod for UT?

(*I refuse to call it "Attack on Terror" or whatever shite subtitle it now has)

I've uh, "got" flashpoint. Will it work on servers or is a cd key required (I ..lost mine).

Flashpoint isn't that realistic, it just feels realistic. It's fantastic fun tbfh.

If you can't rocket/flak juggle ppl then it's not worth bothering with.

I did used to play a bit of Tactical Ops at one point. Back when it was called SWAT mainly. I got bored though.

But you can crash into each other with tanks, and um, all pop in a jeep and go for a drive etc. It's a jolly good blast.

UT sucks big arse tbh.

I'll play UT if everyone else is, despite hating the game. Playing Q2 would prolly arouse me, but I'd have to find my q2 cd first.

a) what's the easiest way to get a game reward card, I dunt wanna pay 24.

b) I need to check if pipex can do online games well, I've not played one since I moved to them (about 10 months)

c) I don't think I have or indeed *have* UT. How much is it now?

me too :) I've been looking around in the shops, but nobody seems to have it anymore. not even in the ultra-budget buckets :/
I'll have to get it on ebay or summat. wasn't there a bundle for Q,Q2 and Q3 at some point? that would be wicked :)

oh, just to shout it out again...I (and Wij heh) keep on about UT, but I can play other games too!


edit: I believe UT is under a tenner these days Nath. I may have to buy it again because my original cdrom is badly scarred :(

I still have UT installed and QW and I believe Q3 too. Not got Q2 on this PC I think.

3 squid online, I shall just pop in to a shop and pick one up. I presume they have stacks of them there and then, or do they have to get your name stamped on it etc.?

Q2 is free now, I'm sure they released the source code, compile it lunix style!

Oh well I was thinking 12 quid would be worth it for a quick bash with a few here. 24 is more for if I was gunna make a habit of it, which is unlikely.
