earlier this morning a group calling them shelves Team Twiizers released a hack/exploit that should allow homebrew running on the ninty wii the Twilight Hack can be found over @ Wiibrew.org
its gonna be fun seeing the wii homebrew scene explode now

Homebrew apps. e.g. XBMC for the X-box. Means you can run your console as a media centre. Same for PS2, you have SMS. Very handy.

wiikeys sole purpose is to run backup/warez games. you dont need this hack if that is what you want. altho it may and prolly will lead to a bootloader like the ps2s HDloader or similar

this hack as WPkenny says is great for home brew apps. the dc, xbox, ps2, DS and PSP have great home brew scene going

But I really think that homebrew made games are really really shit.
