Well over 100 games on the 360 that aren't on the PC, therefore it is not a PC in a box as you put it. Certain games are not suited to being played on a PC and that is where the 360 picks up the slack.

As for graphics yes I like them, I am sure you would too if you didn't have a Wii which has less graphical power than the orginal Xbox. Let us put it this way, would I rather play a 360/PS3 on my 50inch HDTV or a Wii? Not a chance for the Wii with it's 'block-o-vision' low resolution hobo assed graphics.

The Wii can be alot of fun though I will admit and Mario Kart will be the win as long as they don't fuck the gameplay up with gimmicks. The simplicity and pace of the original MK is what makes it one of the all time great games, they shouldn't fuck with that for the sake of it.

i hate smashing buttons...... aiming at the screen with the wii mote is FAR more fun then aiming with the stupid analog stick. i mean cmon! Every game feels more real with the wii..... u cant beat it

GTA 4 isnt the pinnacle of gameplay either.... its just got worse and worse each version like many other games......

Oh yeah, and then we can start counting "left A" "left B" as buttons too? 'cause there's atleast a zillion of combinations with the xbox controller too.

But let's not go there.

The points are, graphics don't work without gameplay, and gameplay doesn't work with just any graphics. Graphics are a key element in the immersion you have. If, your example, mario kart had dark colors, rustic ambience and such, it wouldn't feel as "fun" as it does for you now.

So saying gameplay always beats graphics, is as illogical as saying that graphics go over gameplay. It's a balance of the two that make or break a game.

Mario kart is fun, but it's nowhere near, say, gears of war when talking about tech and achievements in games.

Mario kart is a fun quickplay, and gears of war is a playable warmovie. How can you even start comparing the two, if ot by taking individual achievements into play? And as such, you'd always have something this is better in then that. In a "non-personal opinion" kind of way that is.

Technically! TECHNICALLY! On the Xbox360 control, there is 9 buttons, because, it is X B A Y RB RT LB LT and then the buttons which control your movement. The analog sticks are NOT buttons, you don't click them, you wiggle them, silly.... So TECHNICALLY the wii remote has MORE than the xbox remote

I am with Keitan on this (so help me god) I am a gameplay over graphics guy and the Wii does it for me, saying that I have friends over on a regular basis to play Wii.

Mario Kart owns all!!!!

i have a wii and a 360... been playing my 360 for a good few years now, and still very much enjoy gaming on it (play 2 players all the time, good amount of titles, great online etc) whereas my wii started out good, but 1 month down and line and i can't even be bothered to play it, its such a watered down family console, when we have people over they never want to play wii with the current games available


looking forward to mario kart and super smash bro's , will be some great multiplayer, but that's all wii is, it can't compare with 360 or even the ps3, and probably never will
