Currently i'm on Virgin and have opted for wireless over wired.

Occasionally i'll have my WiFi being a complete arse where it disconnects and connects every few seconds. It happens rarely but it's bothering me now.

Currently have the Tenda W541U USB Dongle on both of my computers, but i relised tonight i have numerous options in my Virgin Superhub wireless settings for 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

I would have thought that my Tenda dongle could have handled the 5ghz but apparently only certain devices etc can support this mode. I switched to 5ghz and found i lost connection and was unable to reconnect - Whereas my Samsung Galaxy SII connected to it flawless.

So now in the market for a relatively cheap (£15-20) dongle OR PCI card that supports 5ghz but is also decent, i'd be needing two of them. My other option would be to simply use the wired section since my PC is only about a meter away from my Superhub, but i just liked less clutter overall.

Wired is always the better option imho Gray. Can you not just hide the cable?

the superhub it is a compleate piece of shit. i use a netgear wndr3700 with dd-wrt
and its much better. tho now the current asus 66 router is the one you can get and as wise ol' missy g says wired is the rock solid option but even going that roud id still say superhub as a modem and get your self a decent router.

wish the to fuck vermin would gives a standalone modem. i miss my old one before i got lumped with the superhub
