Anyone just watch this on BBC One at 20:30. Astounding cinematography, first program about nature i've ever enjoyed. Was really quite interesting. British programming at its best, many claps BBC and Discovery.

I doubt many would have seen it, but I recommend watching it next week if you get the chance.

Carry on chaps.

I may enjoy them more now. Just found them relatively samey in the past. The BBC/Discovery productions (Blue Planet, Walking with series etc.) seem to be quite interesting though.

Some of the bizarre articles of nature in this, our humble home world. Looked at lizards that could fly 200meters, jumping big llama type things and all that sorta stuff. Was funee.

Bah! All lies! You gullible fool!

I watched a documentary tonight about a plane that 'disappeared' fifty years ago only to 'reappear' very recently. Turned out it crashed into mountain, caused an avalanche which buried it on a glacier (hence the search parties of the time nver found it), and eventually packed it in ice. Then the wreckage slowly moved down with the glacial flow until the lower altitude and increased temperature caused the ice to melt, leaving bits of aircraft sitting on the rocks.

There were also bits about fog, crude navigation equipment and the jet stream.

Went on for ages, I tells ya. :(

I sadly missed that... it looked to be rather good. I usually end up watching wildlife progs on Sunday evenings when theres bugger all else on, they are quite interesting...

I love a good bit of fact based programming, I enjoyed watching this prog on 4 about the black death, was really interesting...
Anyone else see it? :/

documentaries are boring, if i wanted to see stuff about real life id go outside, tv is meant to be all made up with things exploding and more things exploding, and maybe some other stuff exploding.
