I bet the low rating is because people have rated it without seeing it because it's got Jen & Ben in it.

First off, it's not just people who haven't seen it and are blasting it - the critics have universally labelled it as abysmal.

And the fact that Lopez and Affleck are in it makes it even less forgivable - while she hasn't really been in anything particularly good (to my knowledge), Ben has proved that he does actually have some talent (link and link)

I found Battlefield Earth to be in the 'So bad it's just bad' category.

I quite enjoyed some of the "*Tom Clancy* Net Force" books, geeky crime department of the FBI etc.. but has anyone else been unfortunate enough to see the movie of it? oh.. my.. gosh!

Think it was Scott Bakula of Quantum Leap fame in the lead role and overall the whole thing was just a shambles and never really got started. After about 10 minutes I was looking forward to the end credits, and to be perfectly honest even they were a major disappointment! Looked like they were done on a C64 or something.

The worst film ever made is 'Meet The Feebles'. Its is the only film I have ever walked out of. It makes the likes of Bernard Manning and Roy 'Chubby' Brown appear the height of sophistication, and intellectually stimulating.

The worst film ever is Titanic? (as voted by Film 2003 viewers).

I know this forum is more opinion than fact, but that has to be the most stupid observation ever. Its a superb film.

I do wonder if people understand exactly what an opinion is, and what it means.

Absolutely no bloody way. The killing spree at the end made me wet myself.

"Brackets" can actually refer to any of the "round brackets" ( and ), "square brackets" [ and ], "curly brackets" or "braces" { and } and "angle brackets" < and >.

Parenthesis was used by techies to specify the "round brackets" and avoid the confusion started by the techies in the first place from having so many variants.

Parenthesis = brackets is more a British thing, outside the UK and especially in mathematics and computers, the term "brackets" is more likely to mean "braces", i.e. { and }.

Ok, I've only come close to walking out of three films in my life.

First was Natural Born Killers, something I'm gald I didn't walk out of as the 2nd half was quite good.

Second, The Thin Red Line. Boring as hell. Action sequences were quite good but there was too much introspective mumbling for my liking.

Third, Legally Blonde and I only stayed to appease my Girlfriend at the time :D

I watched SWAT the other night, which was also very bad, but I think The Thin Red Line goes down as my worst film.

Compared to the Fist Of The North Star live action movie Streetfighter is Oscar material :)
