Why the albs failed where the hibs succeded

ye from what we've been told mids knew about the raid before we set out, that dosnt make it easier really, sure we would have failed anyways sinve we where spotted but maybe not against 200+mids

OI organised the raid...and most of you know ..that i know (for fact now) that there is a Mid spy in Lords of England.

HOWEVER - Im happy that this raid was 'discovered' using proper means ..ie - unluckyily psotted in APK by suiciders (yes u can get well inside PK's...LOE zerg once reached the MPK upper tower killing buffbots).....and also we were spotted just north of Nottmoor by 5 xping Mids (gah what are the chances lol).

Well defended mids.....I actually went LD twice after setting off from Nottmoor to Relic...so I was left miles behind and hopelessyl out of touch with events.....unlucky again...but that might answer the person mentioning - 'our fault for being dumb and not changing targets'.

Again that old argument.. Was hibs that were lucky. Albs being spotted yesterday was bordering on certainty.

I new as soon as i saw the dead mid - Bodend inside apk, while it was only and advance scout force there im sure it seemed a little sus. As a result mids had a rapid responce to our attempt.

I was among the first 10 at the Relic keep. Ardriras were running around in the frontier after rumors of a relic raid came up (rumors only, no defenders at the RK yet). Ardriras spoted 5+ groups of albs he said, so I ran to the RK then. We were about 10 people there at that time. We really didn't get anything confirmed until you arrived at the RK, at what time many was at their toes though, but there weren't more than 20ish defenders there. But when your relic force arrived it wasn't a hard job alarming all alliances and gathering forces. Myself contacted the Fedaykin alliance and from the responses I got it seemed the knew nothing about anything at that time. So if it was a spy, he was _very very_ bad at informing us since at the time I approximate you left the PK we just had random rumors (probably from the one suiciding at the PK that Noita telled us about) and the number of defenders were below 10.

This is just from the view of our alliance though, I don't know how the word went in the other alliances.

As I have learned now, there were people who were informed by some sad individual about the oncoming alb RR the day before. However, these people did the honorable thing and kept silence. Deep respect to those people and regret that they were ever put into such unenviable position.

As far as I am able to tell, ther was no signs whatsoever that we had pre-warning of the raid. Our group really became aware that it in fact WAS a relic raid when alb army was already spotted at Mjollnir.

Yeah only thing that happened afterwards was that these "respectful" persons started whining about us knowing about the attack in advance yadayada blabla, can't understand why some people have to be so darn negative all the time. When we for once had a little window of time before the alb onslaught hit mjollnir so we could set up an initial defence they start bitching about us using spies etc bah ... nothing respectful about that, I'd rather call it disrespecful for the valiant effort from all of those who suicided and rushed to mjollnir, a lot of guys who were exping did this as well, loosing hardearned exp rather than their relics.
