Come on Albs and Hibs. come out to play. my little RM needs more pratice at killing, i go their and it takes me ages to one or 2 of you then you die so fast and i have to start looking again. I know mid has the keep and all but still you can least hide at your PK and get more pratice in Standing next to the guards

I have yet to be killed their which has an RM you should be ashamed

- unless you wanna hide behind the keep guards like just about every middy not in a group of 10+ when faced with more than one hibby

Murdaigean is a ghost town. Hardly anyone goes there anymore. And when they do, they never find other people. I heard a rumour that most people go there on Sunday afternoon, like going on a picnic. Mayhaps I'll try there then.

i logged my char in front of the midgard pk and checked about every hour. And the occasional /who told me that no albs where there too... i roamed the entire ground with my speedspell and killed a few of the mobs, but no enemies nor friends where to be seen.

Only once i encountered 2 Trolls, a Thane and a Skald at the alb pk. I jumped in joy and beckoned them, did a lot of emotes in the hope to have a fair fight. Both Trolls engaged me; Knowing id die anyways i issued my pet to attack the skald who mezzed it, then i Area Mezzed the two, but wait! a kobold archer unstealthed behind me and interrupted my casting and the three dispatched me. While i hold nothing against dying in RvR - please dont expect me to visit this place again. If quick RPs is all you mids are after...

suurrrrree this is RvR area, but dont complain nobodies there if you encourage fair combat like this.

Most times, people don't give the other side a chance. It's just slaughter.

A few times, I have been on the side that outnumbers the other side, normally against Hibernians. Although, they did not emote and such, but rather attacked us first.

you think Real RvR is one on one or even number. i suggest you stop playing know if your after any RvR. Cos it is not like that.

you go out with your m8, gank, they get more of their m8s gank you. and so. its never even.

If Midgard wants decent RvR in the Battleground they shouldnt piss people off, or at least dont wonder why no one bothers to come over there. Calling others guardhuggers while always camping the pk is so totally idiotic its not even funny. PK camping is okey, all the realms do it, but telling the outnumbered enemies they are faggots because they dont charge into the fray is pathetic.

@Khain why should i bother to come back? I dont have much spare time so i can take the 15 mins for a port to murd only to be ganked on sight. That doesnt make any real sense.

I know some RvR, i know that its not fair nor supposed to be fair. I didint want to have an organized Duel with healers and stuff to hoard RPs (BS Det, really, your comment was totally false in the given situation) i just expected some kind of honour from midgard. Its not that two melee trolls were enough for one sole caster, no it took an archer too. I should be proud that i instill such fear in the followers of Odin.

okey so theres no fun in 1 on 1 khain? Well it neither is fun in 1 on 3 i can tell you. Please do me the favour and stop posting taunts here if you chose to gank everyone popping into sight. There seem to be very few albs in that level region atm, most are busy leveling in catacombs or barrows sadly, i would really enjoy a few skirmishes. The time we got to murd with 6 people we havent met one single enemy. We prolly would have done the same if we did - bleah. sucks. forget it. But you have to admit that posting crap like this doesnt make the situation any better.

I for one dont feel to cowardly for not coming back there. And that you still have to be beaten with your leet RM is really an accomplishement, since there are no enemies out there like you say.

Khain. What is the point of one or two of us going there to be beaten by superior numbers? A challenge? I doubt it. I am not surprised that we see the Hibernians once, and then they never return. And I do not blame them one bit. With groups of assassins and archers that are often the only things you find there, why would any other class really want to go there?

You say you go there, and have yet to be killed? Really? I'm quite sure you do not go there alone, for if you did, you would have died many times to the assassins of Albion and Hibernia. And, I'm not going to waste my gaming time to go there and hunt down one little enemy just to give him something to do. I have better things to do with my time.

you both miss the point what i'm looking for is mass of ppl going their not the one or two. i want battles not fights. bateing the realms it the only way i see getting more ppl in their.

Guard hugging comes from ppl seeming ald stand at their PK even when their where no/few few hib/mids about in the whole of emain. i've seen guard huging when the albs have been the onces out numbering us may time.

also posting stuff brings this out a little more. also enought bateing and ppl will start to come. even if its to take the mid keep their

Serious question here, no flaming intended no mucking about. I fail to see the point of taking a chance on their being realmates in the pk waiting for you.

If I want some rvr, i have a nice set procedure - firstly I nag my guildies and see if they wanna come out to play, secondly I nag my friends and people who I have grouped with and know to be good at what they do, to see if they want to come out and play. Finally I do a /who 26, /who 27. /who28 etc and ask people who are in non-dungeon areas if they are grouped and if they fancy some rvr.

That worked well for me with thidranki and it meant that I often got to hit the bg with a group of 8.

My experience so far of the battlegrounds is that everything is down to organisation. A well organised good group will take twice its numbers on and win easily - if its opponents are not organised. I tend to try and organise it all pk side, get ppl in chat groups etc, set regroup points and make sure ppl are happy with what we need them to do. I know this is all elementary stuff and the high levels have been doing this for yonks, but I think if all three realms were doing a bit more of this - the battlegrounds would be chockka full of raiding parties looking for newbies to gank and other parties to crush.

c'mon Albs and hibs get organised and get into the bgs - you can't let those smelly ugly ass cowardly pk hugging troll luving kobald sniffing mids dominate us there!!

Problem is, most i know do a /who murd and say "well, no one there, no point in porting over". Then you do a /who 28 and you get ppl from all over albion, like lyonesse, cornwall, catacombs, barrows... all wich is a long way to sauvage unfortunately. Most ppl dont even answer.
I truly hope this changes, as battlegrounds can be real fun. I loved my time in Thidranki

Yeah! It is really fun trying to take Mids off their whole when they are not sure if they can win a battle. Every time thatthey outnumbered us Mids were making a great charge on us in murdaigean, but when we were pushing them harder than they were used to, Prpl guards where on our head (at lvl29).

I was really excited with BG he first week, then I realised that it is not the best way to pass my time, stayed for 10 days in lvl 29 and now i am heading for my mid 30ish. I will wait till REAL RvR cause this one is not taking too much attention!!

Heh one on one, three on one, four on one, it's all fun.

The other day, me and nilo were wandering around yggdra bored out of our minds.. And happened upon blej's alt - cool! <gank>

Few minutes later, four yellow con (to me) and one orange come through the gates ... <gank> two vs 5 - high level minst and inf teams rule <giggle>

Eventually someone got me - but not after we'd kept killing the same people a few times <laugh>

RvR can be fun, if you are with good people. Even dying doesn't matter, because by then the plan is to have done a boatload of damage.
