Hi, I was playing DOD as . tonight. While on the hill map I was playing as an axis sniper, now as anyone who plays the game knows if you can't get a half decent score as a sniper on that map you must be total dogs poo. Anyway as soon as I made 3 or 4 shots in a row I started being accused of cheating and getting abuse.
1. I don't cheat
2. Are ther as many cheats playing online game as people say or is it just the "If they're better than me they must be cheats" syndrome?
3. I heard of a thing called "Punkbuster" that can detect cheats. Is this available or is it just another rumor?
4. Is there anyway of turning the messages off. Apart from the name calling(don't happen that often to me 'cause I'm usually last) I was unfortunate enough to witness some of the most vile stuff regarding the recent events in the U.S.A.
that I just left the game. It would be nice just to play a game without all the nonsense.
If this sort of thing happens all the time and most peeps just ignore it please tell me
