Why lock threads?

Theres a lot of threads on it because it's a topical issue for the server. In a few days they will drop off the bottom anyway. Mods got bored again? If you were a doctor you could get sued for negligence.

Modding needs to be done to be able to cut out all the spam/flame bating/inapropriate threads/racism/personal attacks/pornograohic stuff etc etc...

The main mods do a good job imo and are right to lock threads which are going way over the top.

The only issue is that Albion yet continues to pve the relics...nothing more, nothing less. Everything beyond this just doesnt matter.

And I can assure you that having these threads on the issue isn't going to stop the small minority of the Alb population that does it from keeping on doing it.

If I didn't lock threads there'd be no need for the obligatory "Why do we need mods?" thread... and they're always good for a laugh.

Plus the forum was filled with about 7 different "ohmygodI'msofunnyletspostapollaboutmidgardbernialbion!" threads which weren't funny the first time they were posted back in beta

Don't like this locking at all. When the thread starts being fun and barmy it gets locked. It is like the mods want to show off that they can do it or something. Unless it is bunging up the database or something then they shouldn't damn well do it at all if you ask me. Freedom of expression etc. Bit creepy that they lock threads I think.
