Why is my Firefox broken? :<

Hoi.

So there i was, browing away using firefox and an error came up, clicked ok, came up again, clicked it away and off it went.

Now when i try and open firefox it just hangs.

I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, logged off, rebooted, system restored and nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas? I hate using internet explorer

I had a thread about the same f'ing firefox a week or two ago, will try and find fer ya.

There ya go.

Should have some fixes you could try.

Well i dunno, it was almost that since:

Fixed the problem.

%APPDATA% in "run".
Delete all it lets you (hey, can always re-install)
Run firefox and *fanfare*

Works like a "charm" again.

4 days ago mine had an error come up and close loaded it back up and its deleted all my favourites from the last 3 years..all the links you gave me:<

Easy way i have fixed it before is moving the Firefox folders from
C:\Documents and Settings\Me\Application Data\Mozilla
C:\Documents and Settings\Me\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla

Starts you from fresh then you can copy the stuff you want back in. As Seel said but i hit both locations If you copy you can copy your theme ect back in after.
