Why has Albion still got one of our Relics ?

I've only just got to the level where I can RvR, but I know there are hundreds of 40+ players out there.

So why has Albion still got one of our Relics.

This game is about Realm Warfare.

I know I might get shot down by Highbies, saying what do I know of RvR

I know if u get 200 players together you'll take any fort u attack.

Lets stop this tit fer tat style of RvR

There only has to be a small amount of defenders inside a keep to be able to hold of alot of people.

not even on an american server has a relic keep been taken with a reasonable amount of defenders. if they know we're coming it ain't gonna happen. period.

And there are exploits being used by Hibs in particular.
2-3 of them AE mages is enogh to hold any keep.
dont matter if there are 30000 trying to take it, possibly if Sb´s had stormed the walls and slayed them.
But things arent that organised i am afraid.

They hit u with 300+ dmg once every second at inner door. And same with any1 else standing there hitting on door.
it is not really possible, u are a shure goner. all u can doo is hit till u hear them charging up and run into safety.

At the moment i think we could own the server, but things with spies and a bit lacking organisation, possibly also due to the spy situation.

The spells these eldritches and enchanters use is an PbAoE.
One of its features is it damages through doors , the other they hit almost as hard as bolts.
Ice wizards also have this spell for Albion, and I'm sure some spell line in Midgard has it as well.
Because it is a viable line to spec in for PvE and great for keep defense quite a few Hib mages have taken this line. So running into one of them at a keep defense is not uncommon.

I play a runemaster and a spiritmaster and I know for a fact that neither of them get a pbAoE dd spell.
The spiritmaster gets a pbAOE stunn spell and that is it.
Runemaster needs LOS for all their spells .

Maybe because getting a large attack force through to hib without being seen is extremely hard.
Still puzzles me how hibs havnt taken one yet and albs and mids frontiers are all but deserted apart from the odd scout, a few peeps exp'ing and an invader here and there.

I have not played a Thane so thats why I did not comment on them and their abilities.

I cannot for the world believe that LoS is not needed for any spell.
Especially since if u check the description of the spell, all spells need a target and has a range.

How can you see and choose a target from the other side of door?
nah, u cant can u. unless u stand in the door or cast the spell the moment a persons axe shows through the door or are abe to choose someone through the mm large crack between doors.

From the insede and out is also through the terrain thus i draw the conclusion it is a bug, and therefore an expoit of a bug.
Just as being shot by rangers when at inne door hitting it, they shoot you from above and straith through the stone.
Same thing with the doors, if i cant hit through it with my weapon a spell should penetrate it.

Well, indeed, Thanes have a PbAoE shout, but it does low damage and has a 30 second recast timer. Also it's range is 250 and not 300.

Other than that I can't think of any PbAoE spells in Midgard, pretty sure there aren't any

midgard don't have pbaoe,because they have ae stun

Mythic itself stated that they were removing the option to hit through the doors. Dunno if they implemented it in the latest patches yet. Hitting through doors involved all the spells, melee and trebuchet type of stuff.

Well, that statement leaves some room for interpretation. In the case of PbAoE defence, it's not the actual spell cast through the door, it's only the effect of the spell that is also effective beyond the door.

Depending on their definition of 'spell', nothing may change at all

If you want something to happend. ARRANGE IT! Talk to your Guildmaster and talk to the alliances. Do something yourself, dont ask others to set up a raid.

PBAoE dossent ned a target it has a range but no target it bursts out around the mage damaging everything around him the closer you are the more damage you take!

hmm 1-3 ppl carnt thes mages ned mana regen(mentalist) ore mana song(bard) unles they take turns in witch case all it takes is 1-2 stelthers 2 stop them!

thes spells (PBAoE= Point blank area of effect) are surpose 2 hit throug dores,walls and actualy throug enything it issent a bug and it hasent ben changed on the us servers and it wont be changed on eu servers either!
