As after i asked it seems its altso abit lesser numbers then then both albs and mids..


Seems you are perhaps missing leader figurs that, for start do big realm events.. like attack legion... or just zerg df..
i dunno whats wrong really.. but the fun in daoc is the rvr imo.

Of course, not too much weight should be put on staring such onedimensional statistics, but it's a fact that Hib/Pryd rarely has more than 200-250 players online during primetime (although DF seems to have changed this a bit).

Hibs on Prydwen are doing great as well... look at our small numbers... and look how well we stand up against Zergs and Mids.
"Hibs will never get into DF" Bleh... been there a couple of times.

The whole realm has, don't know how else to describe it, a 'big family' feeling to it. People are incredibly helpful and friendly to each other.

My personal look at this is that a game that is to easy I allways quit after a short period. Have played both Mid and Alb on US a bit and found it much easier to lvl there. (Ok know you will speak against me in this but I am just stating what I think myself no need to say I am just whining.) Guess the D2 hardcore gaming kinda hardened my skin. Loosing a character for good after building it up for ages makes my type /release with a smile in my face many of the times knowing that all that will happen is that I will here the cheerful music in Tir na Mbeo.

The population figures adds to the challenge, being in a realm that can just zerg down any opposition is not fun at all imo, "omg I lost 1 fight bring all 500 Albs to help me win and let me get my ego back!!". Being in a smaller realm that I usually know each name that I run into out in RvR makes it more fun to.

As said this is MY thoughts of it....flame if you want....or even more likely zerg if you want.....

Gee, this zerging crying is getting tedious. I'll admit that the Hibs are doing well, but every time they die it's apparently due to they being zerged; somehow people don't take that very seriously. I know for a fact that Hibs zerg just nicely in DF; we've wiped 4+ FGs of Hibs down there, so even if you don't have the numbers you certainly seem to have them "in the wrong place", so to say

started in hinny/pry..many moons ago but went to albion/excal but had to come back : simply because its not overcrowded,its got great friendly people here and landscape is the best....hope fully not to many people will convert to hibby also ..which imho will spoil the place which has happened to alb/excal and mid/pry.....played on them all and u.s. servers and this is deffinately the friendliest...

I started on pryd/hib for 1 reason and 1 reason only pretty much lol a friend of mine from UO played/plays there and already had a 43 ranger hehe occasionally i regret playing pryd/hib but then i think about all the cool people and how its fun recognising so many people i see.. i do kind of wish hib would get less gimped though lol i dont know much from experience but seems infiltrators and shadowblades have more advantage than us shades.. and other similar things lol (they also seem to have cooler spell graphics grr lol) but i wouldnt trade playing here for a level 50 char on midgard prydwen dispite my low level hehe so summery a) great people b) recognise people from grouping once or twice alot c) its kind of fun being the underdog lol

1st coz i saw it was really low populated, and needed peeps to make it stronger & compete with albs/mids...
besides , as i was new here , i read "magic realm" so it attracted me...
furthermore I am a Lurikeen in real life, so why i'd go elsewhere?

1st played on Pry/Alb Great atmosphere friendly people.
2nd decided I wanted to try HIb so started character on Exc/Hib
found that I prefered the race/class combinations better than Alb.
only problem was I wanted to Roleplay more & most people thier didn't (though I found a great non roleplay guild & made some good friends).
3rd Made big decision to delete all my characters & come to Pry/Hib. Found a fantastic roleplay guild straight away & havent looked back since. People are friendly, Great atmosphere & although Ive never done RvR yet its nice working for the underdogs.

Well, oh mighty Kr0n, virtual crossdresser and master mezzer...

We might not have the numbers, we might not have the most level 50ies. But when Hibs go RvR we always give you a nasty surprise.
At least the Mids have enough honor (or are less childish) to admit that Hibernians are a force to reckon with in RvR.

This morning I checked and once again we owned half of Albion...
oh and before you start whining that it was not prime time raids... we even manage that during prime time hours.

Since every time we kick your sorry asses back to albion and you land on those bindpoints with a bump!

Last nights rvr at Dun Crauchon made me proud to be a hibby, stand-offs against the mids who were defending and we charged them only to be attacked from behind by albs twice. Yet rather than trying to escape we charge at the albs despite low on power and many people dead or rez sick.

And yes we took down a lot more numbers than we had in our mini zerg-force.

It would be nice if we had as many people as Mid/Alb but the closeness we have in Hib/Pry streatches accross all Guilds, I can imagine you lose some of this with more people!!

Why play Hib/Prydwen?

Cause I like soloing groups of albs, without my pbaoe

Smite clerics are so gimped when they have pets on them

Also, the more enemies, the more the paboe's Zedorf and I cast can hit

Ok, so the same has been done to us, but it's fun pointing at the numbers in the realms and being able to say we can still hold our own through hit-and-run tactics.
