Last time I checked my stats for my site it was
80% 1024 *768
15% 800 * 600
MY site works on 800*600 but is designed to scale up to 1024 *768 where it looks better (imo)
TBH tho this is all immaterial to me cos I have 1600*1280 on works monitor (19") and 1280+1124 at home (17")
