why did u become a {Insert Class here}

was just thinking why everyone picked the class(es) they all play atm? and why they chose a certain class as theyre 1st char?

i chose my ranger as my main beacuse i love LOTR!! \o/ lol

the fact of being a "legolas" wannabe was just too appealing to me

made my druid as a alt beacuse i love the pets they get ^^, they look soo cool imo

also done a hero for Moose and cs and to finnaly make a tank class lol

lastly i made a Mana ment beacuse theyre HOT/MOT spells simply look too cool and i wanna charm pets lol

my first char was my void eld, made him becaus on paper he was the caster with most dmg (and ofc he wasnt), i find lvling a bit slow and made a bard to try something else, and he lvled fast.

I m8 my chanter for farming.

Made my Blademaster because i didn't think they could be as gimped as everyone said (ages ago) and guess what they weren't and i liked the fact of playing a class not that many ppl played, ofc it's not that anymore tho *cough* fotm

I played every char there could be, but none are appealing as asassins, just love the quick fights i guess and love being small fast and scared of.

I started with hero but I tried a BM cos I saw one in TC with 2 sickles and thought "woah cool!!"

In the end it was tons more fun to play and despite being told to roll a hero instead when I asked for advice (despite already having one!) I went ahead, damn glad I did too

1st char was a nightshade, couldnt get a group so roled a hero, loved it in the old proper exp groups, hate it now way to boring.
now working on a ranger, i thought as there arent many good groups about anymore i may aswell roll a solo character, have to say i am enjoying it, rarely die and i can pull when i like.

I made a warrior cus i was afraid of ppl would comlpain about me fucking up with spells or healing or anything. Zerk was a bit advanced too knowing when right moment to zerk and everything :\
i did just want not to be yelled at for doing wrong.

Warriors, they had nothing advanced.

(You know some people don't have high thoughts of themselves), but thats the true story

Btw im probably the smartest troll in midgard, as i put 5 points in intelligence for starter.

My first class was an enchanter, before they were fotm,
it was a great class to solo, but got boring oh so fast post 50.
To bad i didnt made my shade from the start though, it would had been great to play it for a while on an 'equal level' w/o BB's around back then, now it's just plain suicide w/o one.
Oh well, was fun while it lasted :whip:

Well, first was a eldritch who reached the level 23 before it got deleted. Then one year later I decided that I wanted to do a stealther. And as I made some bg tanks I knew tank in rvr wouldnt be fun. All other "high" chars have been mages and they die first. So I thought ranger was the best option, more hp than a mage and ranged attack.

Now I have 300 more hp than a mage, melee for around 60 damage styled. Ranged attack only works 50% of the time, block/evade/parry/pbt/bt/miss.

And for some reason I get hit for 150-350 in melee....

Being a ranger feels like being a gimped mage, but I love it anyway
