ill give you this through brannor, your bloody quick at leveling :)
Wot a load of bollocks. I most certainly did NOT level fast. My /played times is shameful. I may fight well, but my XP/time sucks.

My only issue is, what happens when everyone knows for sure. Will I be excluded from stuff? Will I be shunned? Harassed?
Kinda why I wanted to wait till 45...that way, I'm past the first half of levelling.

my very first realm was hibernia on excaliber levelled a blademaster to level 10 then gave up as there was never anyone about deleted him..

went to mid/excaliber OMG i`ve never ever met such a group of absolute retarded idiots ..rudest people i`ve ever had teh displeasure of encountering levelled my thane to 11 and healer to 6 then couldn`t stand teh constant idiots so started on Alb/prydwen brethed a sigh of relief after meetingthe first few people in the game to actually be nice to each otehr :D

I am into the whole knights in armour, and King Arthur/Camelot mythology stuff, that's why I chose it...
And I have played in the other realms, but I just don't have the desire to go and explore every inch of the realms like I did with Albion.
Midgard scenery is all grey and boring, and I just don't like it, and Hibernia is a great place to walk round, but I just didn't want to.
I guess its Albion's variety that made me want to explore.

I started in Albion since the person who get me addicted to this game also went to play Albion (he was Hibernia in Beta said he didnt like it).
So I just started playing Albion with him, he left after his 30 day trial I stayed, simple as that :)

That was then, this is now... Also I thought our minimum level was 50, in those rare times when we actually recruit. ;)
As for why Albion, I don't remember the original reasons, I did have a spell in Hib, but what brought me back to albion was SotL.

I started in late beta and joined Hib since all my rl friends were there, I just got confused by all the spells and stuff with my void eld
then we moved to albion and found the surroundings and my pally much more fun =)
and since then I have stayed

Well I was living quite happily in midgard when my friend`s (of UO fame) saw the game, decided to start playing it and decided they liked albion (being "UO in 3D"). In a bizare twist of fate, some of the first people I met when I had made an alt in albion a few weeks before came from semi-locally to where I stayed, an MSN friendship bloomed.
Now I`m stuck here :p
Midgard has that heavy, gloomy feel: with GORGEOUS sun-activity and cosy feeling towns.
Hibernia (the north is where most folk see with their alts and is admitable "strange" but the south is all celtic) has a stronger "split" than the other realms (`keens and elves in the north, firbolg and celts to the south - plus the classes are kind of more race-orientated as well) which I kind of liked but my initial thoughs of hibernia were 80`s pop and blue eyeliner.

So I`m here in the slightly gothicy-dreary albion. The Acadamy is pretty though - so all is forgiven.

Well i used to be a UO vet and done my fair bit of pvp only for my friends who's Red guild told me about how cool d.a.o.c. was. I went and bought the game a few weeks later only to find they got bored to hell with it.....so i choosed hib excal and enjoyed it as the graphics were a shitloads better than UO and rvr sounded cool. I got bored of hib after i reached lvl 15 on my hero and decided to try prydwen alb and been there since :p

Although i hated UO at times( mostly cos i got scammed and hacked for over 30m) i enjoyed the pvp there and had good friends. There seemed like more skill involved there, i had l33t chars there too in Atlantic and Europa.

If anyone remembers my chars give me a shout !! :)

They were, Gamma, Mortal Progeny, Wedge, Auto Karma and Kodiac for Europa and on Atlantic it was Earl Jacobvus XII, Sir Lance, hmmm and others were just smelly mules :p Ohh used to have a red fencer called Caligula on Atlantic but he went deep into stat loss :>

Easy, wanted a wizard! :)
How i became a minstrel..ugh well....game shipped 4 days late so I had to catch up with my friends that got it on release, so i figured killtasks (with minstrel speed) should make me catch up :p

I was also into the knights things and played UO. However i wanted a change from the pure warrior that i played in UO so i choose a cleric. I played on europa in Custodes Fati at spiritwood so any pker in doac might for gotten me :)

My two reasons were:

1) I'm English so I thought I'd play in England :) (Ive actually been at Stone Henge for the Summer Solstice, back when they let anyone climb over the place)

2) I prefer medievel Europe settings for games and books than Celtic or Norse. The armour, the castles, longbows. The setting is slightly (only very slightly) more realistic, especially as there were no monster character classes, only human ones.

Me = Brannor????:puke: :puke: :puke:

I know who Brannor is in Albion, Myshra doesn't (although she thought she did ;)) ... I'll tell you all now because I am sure he doesn't spy (don't worry - I'll find a double flame for you later, 'dude').....

Brannor's new name is .....

...it's....

<THUD>

<Jupitus slumped heavily over his desk, the bloodied handle of a dirk protruding from his back>

:p

Back on topic - joined DAoC in early open beta, was unguilded for a short while and then joined Phoenix Legion about half way through open beta.... never looked back and never will - I'll be the one putting the lights out one day :)

Ok, ok. I'll come clean. I'm actually Camber. Kemor is my brother and Zargar is the kid next door.

Oh, and amusingly... My real life initials can spell GOA. :flame:

There are a few that know, and they have kindly remained silent, and that is appreciated. I don't think it's really that hard to guess. I mean, there are only "so" many infils in Alb that fight as bad as I do. :p

At least I can look forward to the PM's like I get in Mid.

~"Most of my friends think you're a git trying to be a policeman for GOA"~ (Or something like that.)
~"You know you're not really liked here?"~

I love these. ;)

Hell no, I've not been into the office in two weeks and i'm trying to keep it that way.

Was just that someone sent me this crate of champagne and a couple of friends came around conveniently (they like to blag multiplayer games on my lan). Anyways, after being wasted time and time again at starlancer (one of the most under-rated games ever) by a mate, I decided to play DAoC - not a brilliant idea really ;)

Wasn't particularly rude or insulting to anyone this time, makes a change ;)

Starlancer rocks. Ok I'm biased as Gideon worked it and I now work at the same company... ;)
