I think it will be a Germany Brazil final this year (again) and that Brazil will win it, they jsut have too many good forwards to contain. England could beat Portugal if Ronaldo is out ingered, what with Deco suspended, but they won't get past Brazil. I think it will be and England Italy 3rd/4th place playoff, and the Italy will win. England jsut don't have any decent strikers left, as Crouch is only good for funny picture threads, and Rooney is an amazing support striker, but plays too deep to be a good centre forward.

Just a question to all those who voted England. Do you think they have played good enough to be world championship or do you count on them having another gear or 2?

Personal opinion is they have the talent for it in team but they sure as hell have not shown it yet.

It's widely known that the English team haven't performed even remotely close to their best but then, to be fair, they haven't needed to. They have been slowly getting a little better each game...

The draw's been good to them and only now, from the quarter final stage do they need to start performing.

I started the tournament thinking they were gonna go out in the last 16, now I've been caught up in it all (as I always do) and have a sneaky suspicion this could be our year. I doubt we'll get a better chance any time soon...
