Thats only because he is so passionate about football. His personality just means he wants to perform at 110% every single minute he is on the field, and when he doesn't he just gets frustrated with himself. Cristiano Ronaldo is the same as are many other footballers, some just hide it though.

Can't read much into the detrimental effects in things like that, if anything it makes him and the team stronger, giving them spirit and drive (something which English players often lack imo), which is also why Rooney is such a star for us

After the group stage I didn't rate Englands chances at all, but the Ecuador game showed glimpses of a good team, and considering no one team seems to have shined so far in the tournament I think its very possible that England can manage to scrape their way through in a tense and unpleasant manner - as we usually do

Brazil not looking too strong at the moment, but its Brazil and they can always pull something out of the bag against any team.

Argentina do look strong, though they had a tough game against Mexico, and will face another tough game against Germany.

Pretty balanced at the moment, as I said, no-one is really shining so the games over the next few days will be very interesting, can't wait.
