Don't pay too much attention to minimum specs. I play SI on a PC that is WAY below minimum specs ... until later this month when I get a new one. Agreed, I don't get all the new effects, but it's still playable.

Any1 heard something about US servers which will be played by europeans?? Since they said euro servers will be up l8r (maybe summer or so) im thinking of playing at US servers with a large european population like Morgan LeFay for USDAOC

I read that the game will require a Gforce graphic card to be playable, devs said u wont play with a TNT2 n old Matrox

I'm looking forward to giving SWG a try, but I have serious doubts about Sony/Verant's ability to pull off a launch this big: given their track record with Everquest, I'm expecting SWG servers to be very iffy and unreliable, at least at first. I certainly won't be deleting any elves in the forseeable future.

well arent all mmorpg servers fucked up? look at the daoc servers now lagged to shit etc and its been out a year!
i think ive played just about every mmorpg thats out and 1 thing i know for sure is that the servers are never reliable.
I mean i only have to point at Uo for example sometimes the lag and other bugs prevented you from even moving lol.
Fingoniel well the name is pretty good i think and it must be because i just started playing AO and someone has the name already a lvl 2 engineer that proves 2 things he doesnt play the char and he made it purely to nick my name lol

I didn't say it was a bad name
Just that it's a dictionary word... like eternal, or ice, or outlaw...
it means something in and of itself so it's going to be taken by people...
Venom is obviously more popular... but it's not exactly a big leap of the imagination to go 'hrm venom taken, I'll go for venomous? hrm no, envenom then'

In the states anyway, 15th i think. From what ive heard it may not be possible to play on US servers from europe, could just be one of the many rumours (someone said a US credit card fixes it

Why do we put up with it?
I mean, the states usually gets releases before UK but why do we continue to just go along with this? I for one am not gonna let myself get into the situation of being behind again. If they delay the UK release until after the States Im not gonna buy it - plain and simple.
We oughta boycot them if they plan to do this otherwise they might get it into their heads that they can patch USA servers before UK ones...

If all goes well where they expect it to do best, then everyone else hops on i guess.
I did hear however the 1st add on comes out very shortly after release (the sorta space side to things), only reason is to give people a month or so time to get used to the game mechanics before PvP goes a bit deeper in. So from straight off at the start yanks will probably be an add-on ahead before we even get the game.
