Prolly wrong here but i thought this raid was done like lunch time or smth, most people work through week days, so the benefits thing would be like bullshit... and if the rest of the players are students etc then they can basicly all play the same times no matter what realm they are.

And midgard = a realm full of gimps, because a group of them done a RR? okay...

If you read about the methods used, the mids actually killed more PC's then the Albs did. Mids have no way to defend against and engage raid, no realm does.

let me ask u a question, does it upset you that we over zergin alb's are currently using a tactic and stratigy that u find difficult to fight against?

We are using the classes given to us to their best advantage, which imo is a GOOD thing. looking into the future this will not so much develope into a war of attrition but a war of subtle stratigic varience which from my point of view is also a GOOD thing. This game has become to stale (from a relic point of view) and this changing of styles will come as a breath of fresh air. I was a bit shocked but also impressed that the 50+ mids fought all night to get what they want, but don't discount the albion want and need. I remember the last successfull Hebral raid on the str relic and the superb albion defence for a few weeks after, lots of hard work was put in by all and i felt a strong sence of SELF from the albs. I was proud to be doing what i was doing with my realm m8's. The the mids performed the famous alarm clock raid, all of a sudden the "i cba" attitued was prevalent (myself included because i felt "cheated" of all the hard work and effort i put into my realm defence.) The question "why should i bother?" if they will go and pull an underhanded trick like that every time, came to mind frequently.

BUT i feel a change in the winds and attitude on albion. This is only the start as far as i can see it, this trype of YoYo RR's will continue for a while but something greater will come out of it. Albions self worth will return, and tbh that is something for the other realms to embrace for it will bring a much varied fighting style + more fun.

ofc there are those of you who would like the majority of albion's RvR'ers to stay as they are due to easy RP's. Do you not want a challenge??

omg quit before you make yourself look really stupid, mids started sieging alb at 12:50 approx 6 mins after the relic was taken into excal... so before you whine about alarm clock look at your own raid... that also means it was an alarm clock raid by you.. we just carried on what you clueless albs started. .. if you take relics in a lame way we WILL batter you until we get em back... which in this instance took all morning.

And the guard was a Renaris guard who died cause it caused some amusing cheers when we all thought 102 albs were inc to try a retake.Ask any mid at Ren and they will tell u,even Ard quotes 102 albs from a guards D/S in a diff thread post.

Infact, all of the methods used to get another realms relic seems pretty valid in my eyes. Granted, we don't all have the luxury of being to play for hours on end or "unsociable" hours. But everyone knows this, infact knowing that that the game servers run 24 hours a day (assuming GoA's hamsters don't fall asleep) would kind of make all of this obvious that it will happen and yet when the inevitable does, people revert to playground taunts, name calling and scream bloody murder. Anyone would think you've just knifed their kids and buggered the family dog!

as far as IM concerned aussie raids are viable and successfull as yours were, all current raids used tactics as did the mid raid(s) last night. Imo in this game you take every advantage u can get, SC/artifactsTIME etc. I'm sure herbal has a few idea's he would like to promote and use.
