Whole New PC

Hello!

Been a while since i have been here, infact not since the bw->fh changeover!! Anyhow, i am finally getting a new pc and was wondering if anyone could maybe knock up a quick system for around £1100, im need a new everything; case, screen(tft plz for easy trasporting to uni and back ) psu etc. i have no idea about whats good or not any, have totally lost touch with things

Forget all that uni stuff. Do you want it to play HL2/Doom3?

Do you want to be able to transport the case easily?

If so, possible shuttle/TFT system. I'll wait until you answer Tom's question first before recommending a spec . If no games, a cheap system can be had.

I would like to play d3 on it yeh, dont particularly mind about the size of the case tho. I think the transport thing is really just me making an excuse for myself to get a nice shiny tft

For £1100 you could save a lot of hassle and just get a pre-built system from a decent supplier (like Mesh) that would easily handle doom3 and other imminent releases, and would come with TFT. Or get it without a monitor and buy a really good TFT separately.

Or are you one of them fiddlers that likes to get inside the box....

For £1100, you could get a budget Alienware, just incase you didn't already know.

Yep. Get an Alienware computer and get charged extra for a crappy faggy ugly case and overpriced hardware FOR FREE!
