Who will NOT respec?

Just wondering how many others, like myself, are happy with their spec and will not be respeccing?

Am I missing the point of the game, or is it acceptable not to use the /respec command?

I won't respec either. I'm happy with my cleric just the way he is.

Ditto:).

One question though,I have 12 pts in thrust for some strange reason,if I respecced would I get these pts back???, as I could then put the 75 pts into parry.

I wont respec my character. Mainly in the hope that in a future patch Mythic will see the..... ACHEW.... error of thier ways with the Void Eldritch. and also because it will mean me......ACHEW..... having to Roleplay my character different <wipes nose>

Sticking to plan (pretty much so, at least... ;) )

... although I agonized quite a bit about it, as some of my friends had to find out to their chagrin over the past few days, I'm afraid (sorry to all for my endlessly arguing in circles ;) /kiss ) ...

Although, this was not so much about the respecc - which I wasn't really interested in, as I am actually very happy with my spec so far; it was more about which path to follow now to keep doing the things I like without totally gimping my char ;) .... - anyway, the option of respeccing was considered in this light but I still felt very vehemently against it ... ;) - so I will stay my plain old self, for better or worse - and feeling quite relieved about it, too :)

I respec'd purely to fix the error of my initial path of going 37 Parry by L37 with my warrior.

Respec'd to 50 shield 28 parry, as opposed to the 44 shield, 37 parry. Oooooh, big change... :m00:

What annoys the hell out of me are people who have used the respec to go 100% in one or other line. Like cave spec'd shamans, or Aug healers, or Sorc's who can not only DoT people, Thrust Infils are all over now.

I would gladly have stuck with my 44/37 if it stopped people changing their spec completely.

Btw, for those that are interested...

Ok, I had someone craft me L50 throwing axes, and they were 15.4 dps (16.2 95% quality). So I went to test them on a yellow mob.

Bright Aurora
65(-11)
73(-13)

Isalf Forayer (blue con)
83
92
92

??? That is truly horrendous. Armsman x-bows, and hero bows (both unspec'd) do more damage than that..., hell, even the Infil X-bow does more. And they only have to buy crap grey arrows...not fork out a small fortune for throwing axes.

Btw...I used the respec "bug" to test it. 39 Axe, 42 shield, 50 thrown...

I wont be respeccing Gluttenfer, he plays as I want him now.

My other 3 chars have been respecced.
Fattus has dropped xbow and slash, and gone thrust and more parry.
Swapped Lotherawin from Ice wiz to Earth
Dropped Stealth from Blakken as its useless at level 27, and almost useless later on with see hidden & ts

I won't respec, I'm happy with my spec. Will save the respec to use if Mythic would do something good for us sometime (ha! good one!).

No max. the 12 points is from auto train. when you hit /respec all, your skills will all be lowered to one, except slash and thrust, your two auto-trained lines.

Well, I played a light Enchanter before - all I did was to downgrade Enchantment Mastery by 14 points (because that line is bugged to hell and back anyway...).

I have always felt comfortable with my spec. :)

Oh, I forgot my usual "The pox on cookie cutter character players" ramble... *sighs*

I might respec in a realmrank or two to reduce my stealth/envenom, guess a lot will depends on what items i can get outta spellcrafting.

With mah wizzy im staying with teh wimpy cold, in the hope that with spellcrafting everyone drops their cold resists for some more heat/energy/body.

What's wrong with 100% in a line? For a lot of casting classes it makes a lot of sense.

As for respec, I went slash. :p

Respecced my Aug healer from 40 aug to 49, cause that's where he was supposed to be from the beginning but kinda lost track somewhere in malmo and went for an insta mezz/stun combo instead. :)

My other chars are fine the way the are though... :)

Won't be respeccing, well actually I got the respec at 46 and as I am 48 now it's too late unless I wanna bugabuse :)

Was thinking about speccing away from hammer, but decided on keeping it.

Not respeccing, but its more luck than good judgement I don't have to. Didn't have a clue about DAoC when rolled up my SM and worked out the char before I managed to completely cock it up.

RA respec at some point probably though.

I won't be respeccing, I finally realised I'm not really an augmentation healer, but rather an incredibly balanced, talented solo artist with my current specialisation!

It's just a shame more classes are much more innately talented than I because of realm abilities and not skill or thinking how they're playing (I swear if I had a level 50 infiltrator I'd be one of the best given the wisdom I've learned as a non-stealther, a lot of stealthers just seem to be complacent, taking their skills for granted).

I'm at the best specialisation I could ask for for how I play.

However, I do know a skald who's heading out of sword and into axe; cookie cutter stuff but can you blame him?

no respec for me, im not even going to change to 1h + shield like most paladins have done. im happy with 2h slash... if im gimped in RvR (which i dont think i am) so what, i dont go out there much and if i do im in a group anyway. im just looking forward to parry and block being properly fixed (or at least ive heard it will be, not totally sure on this myself, i thought it already was)

spec (for when i hit the big 50, just this season to go):

2hand - 50
slash - 35
parry - 28
chants - 36

i did respec olorin though, he is now an earth wizard (tempted to try ice before the "bug" is fixed) but i only tried that as i DID intend to be a wizard on the pvp server, just wanted to see whats best really.
