Who do you fear in Thidranki?

The above question is one that I would love to hear answered by all three realms, as for obvious reasons, I never hear a reaction to how my realm mates are seen by other realms. Are they feared? Are they hated? Are they respected? This is where all you guys come in!

Please only mention characters who have been playing as of the 20/10/02, so we can keep this list up to date.

Also, if everyone could speak to any level 20-24s they know, or are in their guild, and directed them here, it would be appreciated.

I may aswell start the ball rolling..

I am Hibocurvy, Level 24 Lurikeen Ranger, member of the guild <Celtic Fist>. I have been playing in Thidranki with this char as of 23/10/02.

First of all I have to mention the shambles of a keep raid that Hibernia put out today - What in the hell it was about is beyond me!

Firstly, a Ram was assembled in HPK :/
Secondly, the second ram was assembled 10ft away from the keep door, and thus, we were massacred by Mids :/

Our second attempt was a little better, however another ram was wasted, placed too far from the door again. With the second door down to 20%, I think the whole of the Hibernian thidranki population clicked on the ol' newb button, and decided to die to around 2fg of albs. (Which is kind of strange, seeing as we had around 8fg).

As for thidranki players...

Estrogen, Saracen Scout - First saw you on friday night, and until today, I had never killed you, and you me until this evening, when you were attempting the keep raid ^_^ ! Was Very chuffed there - I rattled off 10 albs in less than two minutes. Its quite often I see an 'XXX was killed by Estrogen' message.

To be honest, thats about the only name I really worry about when I see it pop up. If someone in Albion could please contact her and tell her to read this post I would appreciate It.

I have a 24th Friar, and to be fair, I have the greatest respect for the Mids. Every death i have had at the hands of the enemy, has been followed by a bow or a salute.

On the other hand, i think the majority of Albs in Thid are a bunch of freking muppets. Every time i go visit, and an Alb kills someone, i see them jumping on corpse, laughing and being general twats...

Sometimes I am so ashamsed to call myself an Albion player...

The only thing I fear is the mass of stealthers Alb has these days, seems BG is full of cowardly mincers who hang around ganking casters, cant say I blame them, but it hardly involves tactics does it.

I could say ph33r my lil runie, level 21 and spent 3 hours in BG to the tune of 101 RPs, so I dont think she will be there long at this rate. Shame cause my huntress went the same way, must be a lemming factor in Thid.

Also, ph33r Unilgathiel, another runie, who put the raid against the alb together on saturday, and ubered the doors, great work m8.

BTW, the hibs also let their ram die on the inner doors, hence why us mids left you and the albs to gank each other outside while we rapaired them. 8fg's of n00b buttons and a ram carrier who is definately a seige n00b.

Well, we ventured into Thridranki yesterday as Point Blank... And LMAO @ all the stealthers there, common they actually tried to kill my full-chant+shield spec Paladin with Shadowblades, first someone tried solo... Then they tried with 3 peeps... (Numb rulez )

It was kind of funny when they tried to PA me, you see them from 'miles' away... Too bad I only have 8 in slash and cant even kill a fly... (my shield styles do more damage then my slash styles)

Oohwell, once we (Point Blank) got our act together, we where regular smurfs on a killing tour... Too bad we screwed around too much to get ganked by guards instead of mids/hibs...

Next sunday we'll try and take the keep, shouldnt be too hard

Since we had the mids on the run a few times

As for the mistakes with the raid/rams, well that's what bg's are about isnt it. you have to let people learn how to play their characters in rvr. i always found it fun, even when we messed up cant wait to level one of my alts and come join the fun, it seems like bg's are getting busier lately

i donnu if anyone fears me,maybe,or prob some mids and albs do,but i don;t wanna say anything.
As far as i see it,there is noone specific i fear in bg.
But some that i very much dislike are infs(haven't encounterd any sb doing this) that kill u just after u have been ressed..this doesnt give u anything so why don't u just leave it,it's something u don't do out of principal.So ,afais it these infs are scardy cat's..prob don't want me to hunt em down eh?

so,for all those sb's out there:I give u honor as to fighting fairly(as far as stealthers can do this) ,but those infs out there...no further comment..

nothing wrong with a friendly spot of rez killing besides, it teaches the rezzers not to rez too close to keep walls, i got one troll 5 times in a row one straight after the other before the stupid healer worked out that he was just burning power , the height advantage from the thidranki walls was just great fun

Can't really say I fear any classes... it all just seems like a bit of fun compared to Emain Plus the groups / guilds / commitment are all a shambles so you cant really take it too seriously...

I do get annoyed by runies nearsighting my cabby though.

Was quite fun in there last night.... we managed to organise the Albs for a little, fighting the Mids off from the PK.... until they all decided to run up to the keep and pull all the guards...

Still, I'm sure they'll learn

I think next time I'll stick to just playing one character rather than trying to control two (was the first time I'd tried either of them in the BG).... Easy in PvE where you're only up against mobs who are too stupid to take out the Theurgist first because she's chain casting BT on the Paladin

I have to say that I was impressed with the Paralyse shield style.... having the ability to stun your opponent if they try to run from you, particulalry after having played a Merc for so long, was wonderful!

I definitely want to play some more in the BG, when I can get away from my regular RvR duties, so watch out for Xanetia the Paladin and Leitha the Theurgist.... they may pop in at any time over the next few weeks!

As someone else said, Thid makes a pleasant change for the normal emain zerg or Odin's AMG campage. Its also as balanced as this game can get, so when my runie gets kicked out, hes gonna be deleted in favour of another BG char! Roll on 1.54 and the 8 char slots!

hey guys its me Ximadir. Me and nightsorrow and kylandra ownt every mid last night on mb that mus be very scary when u walk there alone as a mid and suddenly 3 infil pop hehe. But the trap that u guys made for us in the end was gr8 4+ sb's and some bait. LOL we managed to kill the sb's but then the other mids came hehe.

The only person i fear was hotlikelava she was 1 of the sb's that could kill me others just dont stand a change
