Ethereal Bond 1 gives 15 power
Ethereal Bond 2 gives 40 power
Ethereal Bond 3 gives 75 power

Now I go train :
U train Ethereal Bond 1 u power raise by 20 points
U train Ethereal Bond 2 u power raise by 30 points
U train Ethereal Bond 3 u power raise by 30 points

Now for the fun I try Ethereal Bond 5 and i get a total of 200 extra points which is correct , but then i go respec and I get this msg : U power is lowered by - 369 points .

This was equal no matter how much power cap + total i had on.

Iam lost who can figure it out for me THX .

Think about it if eb5 gives 369 power then eb2 should give 99 power for 4 points, mcl 2 = 10 points and 120 power ^^, say eb is effected by toa then eb2 = mcl2 but 6 points different.

Waiting for piff to figure it out

Try this several times and you will be powerless ;)

Stats + stat caps + stat cap increases + buffs?

And no, Mythic and Mathematics are not the best friends.

for the respeccing part.. did you have aug acuity also? since that raises power and thus would cause it to lower too when you respec.

Anyway from what you trained it's a case of eb1 = 20, eb2 = 50, eb3 = 80.. which is, uhm weird yeah since there's no discernable pattern relative to the intended values :p

Nope no aug acurity had zero RAs when i tested, tried with different amor on to increase pie and power poll + cap but still got same numbers.

hmm just checked ingame now, and when you click info for the RA, the values listed are: 20 50 80 130 200.. which correspond to what you got

I guess the website is out of date? or (this seems unlikely to me since it's hardly overpowered) the RA gets nerfed in a future patch

Maybe the difference between putting it on and taking it off numbers is something to do with the way +pow% gets applied.

I'm reaching I guess, but if:

([YOUR POWERPOOL] + 200) * [YOUR +POW%] = 169

Then you could explain the different numbers if it reports only the awarded bonus when you take the RA but reports the literal change to your power when you lose the RA.

Then again, it could be late at night and several years since I looked at a maths book.
