Just been reminded about this annoying little kitty in camelot by reading a post in the general forum... just got one question i'd like clearing up...

I heard a rumour that if you kept feeding 'Whiskers the Cat' loads of nice food for hours and hours then it eventually gives you some sort of permanent resist bonus or something.

Personally I think its a load of ballz, but I thought I better just check incase I'm missing out on the ultimate quest or something

(btw. The rumour came from Mokas from Knights of the Round Table, so direct all the 'n00b' flaming in his direction )

As Oro, I used to make a point of going to Camelot to train, even when I could train elsewhere, just so I could do my levelling ritual of feeding Whiskers. A few levels I missed but most of them he was helped on his way to becoming a fat kittycat.

I like the idea of Whiskers and included him in my Ham Fisted stories. Always tickled me to think what might that little realm guard have got up to before becoming a loafer in Camelot.

I've never heard of anyone actually getting anything. Its just a nice bit of fluff in the game. Um, no pun intended

I think the kitty is quite refreshing, I mean atleast it meows when you give it fish. Sometimes I am waiting in Goth and hordes of level 2 players ask for some gold, they never meow afterwards
