Well, 50weap/42shield/39parry might even be a better spec, tho I haven't tried it out. The lvl50 shield stun style is good, but not that good. It requires a good ammount of dicipline to perform it successfully, unless you are 1vs1 with a mob or player.

If I was a new warrior I think I would have chosen the 50weapon, 42shield, 39 parry. As the weapons work now, a hammer or axe spec would be viable, tho I think sword will get a slight boost in the upcoming patches.

The teamleader are also working on a hit bonus on that particular lvl50 shield style.

Well you shield is weapon you use it for offence, go 50 if for nothign else to hit harder and hit more, there are no tohit bonus on shield styles. High spec will help here

ive heard and there is some posts here saying that the axe styels use a LOT of end opposed to the sword styles...

soo i guess the sword have lower dmg output but can keep the dmg up longer opposed to axe specc where u will deal very high dmg but run ooe in notime...

if this is true i would chose axe due to the higher dmg...

and THE SHAMMY END REGEN... if u have a bot (end regen 5) or a normal playing shammy (end regen 4 normally) runnig with you... (and that is a must)...

i think there are SB in BG 1 who run around fro 10 mins then run back to their bots just to get endregen 3!... its that good

so.. go for axe if u want the best dmg... go for sword to look better... (spins around when styling and the swords look cooler)


just here at the end... i think i have a 1h dwarven scoutknife lying around (99% or MP SC'ed and procced for a lvl 30 char)and i have no intension on using it... if u go sword u can have it... no use in having it collect dust in my vault is there.. =D

Thanks to everyone for the input.

Decided on Swords, mainly for the asthetics as i said. I just think a Kobie looks better with a sword and board. (and i decided before i read that last post - thankyou - most generous)

Still havn't decided on 42 shield or 50 shield yet... but i got 40 levels to decide that so it aint a biggie yet.

Believe me, there are no difference with the end cost of axe styles and sword styles. I used to think so when I was a sword user, that axe used less end.
