Research has idenified 9 types of drinker, which are you?

BBC NEWS | Health | Drinkers fall into 'nine groups'

Edit: for those too lazy to click link:

Depressed Drinker - Life in a state of crisis ie. recently bereaved, divorced or in financial crisis
De-Stress Drinker - Pressurised job or stressful home life leads to feelings of being out of control and burdened with responsibility
Re-Bonding Drinker - Relevant to those with a very busy social calendar
Conformist Drinker - Traditional guys who believe that going to the pub every night is ‘what men do'
Community Drinker - Drink in fairly large social friendship groups
Boredom Drinker - Typically single mums or recent divorcees with restricted social life
Macho Drinker - Often feeling under-valued, disempowered and frustrated in important areas of their life
Hedonistic Drinker - Single, divorced and/or with grown up children
Border Dependents - Men who effectively live in the pub which, for them, is very much a home from home

Then they are wrong because mine's not there. I saw that program that was talking about Belfast being Europe's biggest binge drinking city and the factual crap that went with it. Was enough to send me for the fridge and get a beer while watching it tbh...

What happens if you fall into many different groups? I sometime drink when stressed/depressed, but often just do it socially etc

you burn in hell!!!! :flame: :flame: :flame:

nah, not really lol.

i dont fall in to any f those groups so i shall create my own!

I am a comfortable drinker!

I drink the occasional sherry on a friday or saturday evening after my bath when im snuggled up on the couch...this is not a weekly occurance though and months may pass between sherrys. i may have a wee dram in me coffee on a sunday afternoon (again snuggled on sofa) and on special occasions (i.e. halloween, anniversary, new years, valentines) wine may be drunk...while snuggled up on sofa. very rarely a beer may be consumed and this is usually acompanied with a sandwich either while laying in bed reading or (all together now!) when snuggled up on the sofa!

if a sofa is not present (for example, i have a glass of wine while out to lunch) one will be saught out ASAP after consuming said beveridge.

oh yeah baby, im a wild child.
