Differences are:

1 less con in template 1 (from 101 to 100)
14 more hits in template 1 (from 386 to 400)
2% less melee speed in template 1 (from 10% to 2%)
24 less AF in template 1 (from 50 to 26)
1% more body (from 24% to 25%)
5% more cold (from 16% to 21% effective)
2% more energy (from 14% to 16% effective)
3% more matter (from 17% to 20% effective)
5% more spirit (from 17% to 22%)

Effective means including armor resist table and racial resist, and keep in mind that in DR I'll most likely go for the 10% resists.

they are both good, BUT i myself would choose the second one.

better toa bonuses. and 14hits = allmost nothing.

I agree, 14 hits / 1 con are nothing, the AF & melee speed swings it for me

i want those 14 hits but i dont think theres any way possible unless i rework the entire template.. >.<

Id say nr 2. The few % wont make or break a fight. And the 2% melee speed is something extra.

Post the template and I can try to squeeze in some more through SC. Although by the looks of those stats, you've probably been working on it long enough to perfect the SC. :)

It's 16 hits actually ;). I've pm'ed you about the effect of Armour factor, the test are pretty old though. Also sent you another template, which is similar to the second, but with the last 16 hp capped and only 20 AF.

That's what i found on the net when searching for "DAoC AF aborption test". When translated to your template dilemma this means:

25 AF cap = 25*1.10 = 27.5 AF.
13 abs/100 AF = 0.13 abs/AF
0.13*27.5 = 3.575% absorbtion

the reason i changed my template was because moirais ring is near impossible to get.. :< think ill stick to second template for now, thx a lot tho :)

6% cold = not good = u gonna get owned .

i played with 5% cold a couple of months ago and let me tell u there are a hell of alot of peeps using cold weapons , which ment they were hitting me bloody hard and i was dieing fast .

now i play with 23% cold ( MUCH MUCH BETTER :) )

i would of gone with temp 1 :) ( better resists )

except that cold weapons hit 15% harder on studded then on leather..... ;)

I only saw ste-blade-cd and no CS so thought u were melee ranger SORRY .

I voted #1 cause by posting this here you made your resists clear, meaning that every FH reading stealth will try cold weaps on you if you go for template 2.

I had to do a similar choice on my template for my ranger, so I made the boots swappable, meaning I can boost my low resist (not gonna say which one =)) by just swapping one item =)

i wouldnt go for a template w/o 4 skills capped :( try and make one with more sweet charges and 4 skills ;d
