I dont really use them. I have a facebook account but i thought up the idea of not inviting anyone to my friends list. so far i have about 10-15 people who invited me.

I only really ever paint stupid photo's on their facebook pages as well

Phones cost money. Anyway, there's nothing wrong with facebook in the slightest. You don't have to paint your profile stupid colours or have shiney text, it's just a very useful way of keeping track of all your friends, especially for me, as i'm going to uni and going to be making a lot of new friends in a short space of time

Lol I like the vampire thing, I cba talking to people all the time so attacking them instead is a cute way of saying hi. Besides if you only have actual friends on your list accepting invites for "silly" apps is not much to do for a friend really. One of my mates referred to social networks as "friend counters" and this so true for many people. I have 33 friends only and all pretty good/close ones tbh so I don't have an issue with their spam.

I made a facebook account because friends bugged me. I regret it big time. Every day i get stupid spam in my email inbox about "so and so wants to bite you" or "zombify you" or "compare movies", "share a beer", "list favorite songs", "measure dicks".. etc etc... I've turned it all down in the hopes that they'd stop spamming me but it won't help - probably because they send this crap out to everyone on their friends lists. GAH!

For anyone who hasn't signed up yet, for the love of god, don't! I realise it's nice to have a "presence" online, but... by now i've just about had it and will probably delete my account. It's too annoying.
