stupid post!
mercs are obviously best solo, while zerk prolly got most raw dmg output, and bm's got other 'stuff'

You forgot savages (which are the best ofc) on the list to choose tbh.

PS: Are you gonna make more polls like that? Not like Mythic is reading and will do anything! :)

btw what is the point of this post? With the introduction of NF soon all light tanks will be like the dodo bird. Ask the question of "which realm has the best caster/archer" as this will be soon the only thing that counts.

my 2 cents

my guess it is to do this with every class and then point out that the best of each is mr. midgard d99d's

Blademaster: Side-positional stun, Back-positional snare, dps-enhancer without penalty or attention (triplewield)

IMHO the best light-tank in game; if you exclude savage. If you include savage its obviously the savage.

Savage (H2H): Side positional stun (first in chain), back positional stun (second in chain), pbaoe haste debuffing style, style increasing evade and ofc never forget the styles hitting more than 1 targets! And all that with very low/low/medium end requirements and loads of self buffs to help them.

And ofc we include savages as they are seen from Mythic as light tanks and thus given determination/stoicism/etc. For me, they should be hybrid tanks as no "normal" heavy or light tanks have anything close to those self buffs!

Side positional stun (second in chain)
Back positional stun (first in chain, 3 sec stun triggers all stun immunity)
PBaoe haste debuff (bug made it stop working a while back, might work in NF)
Dont know of anyone using the evade enhance attacks
Dont know of anyone using the multiple target styles except for in PvE
Horrible weaponskill compared to other light tanks.

And still, savage is my preferred light tank, insanely fun when you once in a blue moon get those quadhits and hit someone for 1000-1500 dmg in one hit :)

I love the sidestun and the backsnare I have on my BM, makes it very nice for peeling and stopping enemies. Great light tank with nice steady damage.

My berserker could use more work on styles, the fact that 1.62 nerfed it to "regular" damage also left the class with sub-par styles for a grouporiented tank. No stun abilties other than second in evade chain and no sidestyles at all (2 different backstyles, one useless and one ending in an okay style being third in chain). Giving berserkers an overhaul on styles should be done at same time as they reduced the damage, it wouldnt have been such a nerf if they did.

bm>zerk=merc

because of side pos stun, back snare.
merc has the advatange of front pos of enemy would face, and side pos with snare.
zerk has highest GR on back chain and berserk mode. (+best race of all tanks )

however, playing a bm or merc is alot more fun than zerk :p

I guess its just savages can insta-add 6 more effects any time they will, hense making it a bit easier to be immune to grapple if they want to.

i think the light tanks are remarkably well balanced - probably the best balanced classes around the realms

all three have their bonuses and all three their downsides, savages may be a bit OP - they were seriously OP before TOA - however i think TOA, and implementation of Bodyguard, grapple and MLs has reduced their pure offensive output - i.e. 4 healer 3 savages 1 shaman groups wouldnt work now

the major downside to savage at the moment is no access to banelord - something which all other light tanks benefit hugely from, a savage who is spamming grapple or concentrating on defense isnt really fulfilled his high damage potential - and a BM warrior can do this better imo

savages with banelord would be the nasty though

And extremely crazy offense and defence comparing to other light tanks too!

Hmm, maybe Mythic should move reaver spells from spell menu to ability menu, make them take hps instead of power, eliminate power totally and then move us to light tank category from hybrid tanks.
That's exactly way I saw savage from start like "cheating" having so many effects which because they wouldn't take power would allow the class to be considered light tank.
That was a joke from the start especially if you compare them with the rest light and heavy tanks [hardly 1 "magical" ability each, except arms and warriors that have nothing even considered close to magic (zerkers-vendo, mercs-mainly the old dirt, bms-TW, heros-moose)].

Tbh, from the start savages should be considered a hybrid tank but nm me, just whining again I guess ;)

Oh Fed, stop posting sensible things that make sense. It stops the whines, and they're what I come here for :)
