doesn't it bother you that every time you drink alcohol/eat bacon/etc/etc you are shaving time off your life? I dont smoke and I never will, but really, everyone does things which are pleasurable now but unhealthy in the long run, its not like you are somehow "pure" because you dont smoke.

There's a harsh difference between smoking & those you suggested.

In moderation, they are perfectly fine. Smoking in moderation is still pretty damaging & the effects it can have on someone show very early on in life (my dad is beginning to suffer the effects at 39).

It's just one of those things where it doesn't seem to be a win-situation anywhere...
