Which DDR Mem

Im after some new DDR memory for my Asus A7V266-E Mobo.

What is the best make if any?

I'd recommend Crucial. Good memory, and you can buy it pretty cheaply direct from them. Plus their shipping times are nothing short of spectacular.

They've also got an automatic guide thing which will tell you what kind of memory you want.

I get crucial too, haven't let me down yet.

It's tempting to go for cheap memory but you're only saving a few pounds and if you get a dodgy stick then it can be a real pain in the ass (no pun intended).

Corsair is meant to be the bollocks .

It is indeed, only really worth it if you intend to over clock or want to get an extra bit of performance out of your memory.....although it costs.

Hello!

As people have been saying, Crucial often produce good quality RAM, and I believe TwinMOS RAM isn't that bad either, and probably comes in a little cheaper. If you want to go for performance RAM, then Corsair and Geil are amongst the best makes, but for most users their products are a little exoctic, not to mention about twice as expensive as 'normal' RAM.
