Eh? Where is this game going?

Had me a hell offa time trying level 50 but it seems that even Thid now is a nightmare?

Buff up - lag - lag - die - buff up - fight and hope no lag - lag - good fight - another good fight - shall I go where everyone else is? - shit nah my comp is struggling (2.2 athlon 512 mb ram 7200 rpm hard drive and 256 graphics card) - ok back off - good fight - die - buffup - etc.

The lag is particularly nasty for me cos I need to swap weapons. I can hit someone and have lag and lose control. Sodding horrible.

Am not kidding the fun has gone for me even at Thid level. If I want to keep playing this game I looking at another computer overaul! That puts the tally upto: an extra base unit - switch box - upgrade on main computer etc. Just to play this game? And now I need to spend more money on an upgrade - keep 2 accounts going - oh my god Mythic are laughing all the way to the bank and back again!

Am sickened really and perhaps the way the game is going is something I need to address. Maybe the faults are my own. Such as it is about time I upgraded my computer. But is it?

I would continue to play this game if I could but I just can't. Even if I could it has become a bleeding disgusting game to play.

Nah - computer parts are dirt cheap now. I can earn a fortune fixing computers but my tolerance level is low and I can't put up with moronic moaning from people. Owned a comp shop at one time and the customers wore me into the ground to the extent I had me another breakdown (yup had me a few before too - who gives a shit?)

I really wouldn't complain about this game but the totally obvious reasons they are trying to extract all they can out of you money wise is so nasty now as to be unforgiveable. The game is now a real bad means to get money from you and that is all it has become.

Sod em - when your subscriptions run out try Wow - tis where I am going. If you want to meet a real skilful player then you need to head there too. Who says so? Me - who has ever beaten me in Thid bar for some buffed polestaff guys and a Friar once (killed him 2x since).

Ah

Some good points there Digi. I tend to get humungous lag after a bottle of sherry. If I round that off with some beers then the lag becomes quite something to see. Affects my fingers to the extent they can't find the keys on the keyboard sometimes! Lag is a terrible thing!

I guess you have no friends or guild in mid to talk to, so you are unable to ask if they are having lag.

Anyone playing DAoC on the europe servers and is not in france is getting bad lag over it, so that means everyone is equall.

But then again you can't beat somone if your equall can you ?

Suddently the lagspikes disappear and the next thing I know, I'm lying at home under my bed with my pillow under my feet... very wierd lag!
