Want to get GF an iPod Nano 2gb for christmas but am a bit shit searching. I've checked play.com amazon.co.uk but they are all roughly the same price (no clue why but the 14 hour battery iPod is more expensive than the 24hour???)

Does anyone know a good site which is cheaper than the others?

Please dont say ebay as im not too keen on getting it from there.

I got a purple one of those for my birthday last year - love it

The software is awful though so a big nono for anyone who isn't preapred to fight with the PC a bit

Got a big purple (arf arf) Sony mp3 player and have no troubles with the software. Only irritation is the headphones, but the same goes for any MP3 player tbh

She has a MAC so itunes is perfect for it. I got no clue about macs so we're all happy

Well I find the software connects very very slowly, and it is fantastic if all your mp3 files are on the PC you connected to but mine are all on an external hard drive connected elsewhere on the network which makes it unhappy

But after 11 months I still like watching the way the buttons light up when you use them so it's all good.

Don't get an iPod Bahum. You only pay for the name and the hype. Their quality and functionality is seriously less than what you'd get from Cowon, Creative, Philips, Archos or iRiver, to name but a few

Well i desided the same thing. But im getting these newsletters from apple with all sorts of ipods, and i saw this support HIV ipod. So just desided to buy that. Its red 24 hour battery and 4gb. Im danish so dont know if u have the same one in UK but i got it quite cheap at the appleshop.
