the very fact that everyone assumed that chelsea where gonna close gap to 1 point was enough to piss off us geordies and say.. REALLY?
league aint just about 4 teams, so fuck you chelsea, and man utd who we also "stole" 2 points away from with our 2-2 drw on jan 1st..
and btw.. dont called manchester scum united... there's 2 teams in manchester so how are they united? its an isult to all the real United teams.
get your head out of your arses.
I fancy us to get a draw at home vs united
I will personally come up to the land of Toffee and kiss you if you can get that.
WITH tongues.
well anyway, i bet vlad lives nearer to his team than most of you do to yours![]()
You gonna come tounge when we get the championship on The Bridge?![]()
Do you not recall what happened last season when utd came to the bridge?![]()
And you got pooned![]()
Last year results mean nothing to this years. That said i'm not sure about United at the bridge due to the injuries we have. But Chelsea need to up their game alot compared to recent performances to get a win.
I think in this run down, the biggest game is the Arsenal vs Chelsea. Arsenal have a good chance of picking up a draw there, and if they do then the Chelsea vs Utd game is not of major importance. I still think we are going to take the lead, however we have to get the 6points from the next two games for sure. Cant rely on another chelsea slip up.
More to the point, the press dont seem to be saying much of anything about Man Utd's totally valid winner scored by Ole. It makes me laugh that it was disallowed and they now need a written rule.
So the 4 official said "it was disallowed and he was booked for unsporting behaviour. The keeper has to be allowed a connect with the ball".
Ok so we take this comment and look what happened. The keeper released the ball. Therefore the ball has to be in play surely? If it isnt then doesnt that mean that when the keeper drops it on the floor to walk out and kick, untill he first touches it then it still not in play as he hasnt connected with the ball? Indeed this is a strange one.
Infact, I remember many years ago watching England play a game. If I remember correctly it was Gazza that had ended up of the pitch behind the goal. The keeper had the ball in one hand and was walking, waiting to kick the ball when people up field. Before he could Gazza came from behind, headed the ball out the keepers hand and scored. It was allowed and deemed to be an ingenious bit of play by Gazza.
