Where did all the theurgists go?

I hadn't played Albion for a few months so I was a little shocked when I returned to continue leveling my little 44 theurgist and find less than 10 others on /who theurgist. What's happened to them all, I remember always seeing them kicking about at least in AC and DF.

I know PBT isn't as handy as it was a year ago but is everyone bored and playing/leveling scouts now in preparation for New Frontiers? I honestly expected to see more of them since they'll help a fair bit in ML and arti encounters.

I may sc mine and rvr again with him if i can be bothered to work on a 4th char to toa sc....it's a lot of effort and very time consuming when you have played the game an awful damn lot already :/

Theurg is a wonderful class but i hate being an avalonian if i could get the morph artifacts i guess it wouldn't matter so much.Also very costly too, spent 100p on 2 chars already.(not much to some but still is a lot considering SI sc was WAY cheaper)

Theurgist was a bit fotm pre-ToA with tank groups as they could interrupt healers fairly well, provide extra damage with damage add and haste, as well as give PBT.

However most rvr groups are now about doing as much damage as fast as possible with debuff nuking. Unless a cabalist spirit debuffs then an air theurgist is going to face 50% resists against most hib groups.

Was fun taking Duane out for rvr, however it didn't last that long.

I still play my theurgist often! Both of them

I still play but don't RvR much, much prefer playing my Scout or Minstrel these days.

Play two of them too, one air spec for rvr, and one earth spec for pve. Just need a decent template for pve, and focus on a great (read expensive) one for rvr.

Still find a theurg is the most effective way to shut down casters for quite a while, and when i'm playing a tank (or another caster) i really notice the drop in a groups effectiveness if it has no theurg. Big up to all the theurgs

I've simply played less overall during the summer but when i do log on, it's Levin most likely who gets to see play.

Am curious exactly how you can fluff playing the Theurg tbh...
