Where are the Hibs hiding?

The topic says it all!

I see a very few hibs out in RvR, or in Battlegrounds I should say, since that's where i spend all my time atm.

Why are they so rare in RvR? Is it because they are so few players or what?

Please help me out here :)

We don't have the numbers, the levels or the money.

Having said that, we are the only realm who did something about the relic status at the moment.

Okey, thanks for your answer :)

I don't see why no people play in teletubbie land (hib) ? I think i would find it very fun to run around sniping some mids and albs that are busy killing eachother.......but maybe it isnt very fun? :)

Hibs are like buses. You see none for months, then 20 come along at once.

Seriously! I never see them for ages, apart from the odd grey con luri or something near one of my camp spots <grin>

Sometimes see a few big ugly firbies and some of their twisted little wierdo friends camping the AMG in emain (rather brilliantly actually, far more effective than mids IMO) but that's about it.

Not sure how you are off for numbers, but basically if you're as low as you claim you do bloody well.

Oh P.S. Remind me not to attack greggor without a successful PA and poison.. meleeinf I may be, but boy that moose thing is scarey! :D

Bah I found 8 hibs in Hadrian's Wall last night, so they do run about. I gave 6 a quick trip back to their golf course, one ran off and I have no idea where he got to and the final one I spotted as I was suiciding at the PK. :p

Hey i'm about, made a magnificent 32 lvl recently and catching up on rvr fast. Our no.s are very low, on good days i do a /who and see 168odd people online<i know this doesn't account for /anon> which is quite small to the amount i used to see on alb.

We will fight, but battlegrounds come second to getting a character that is able to help the realm in a significant way

I guess that was our small guildparty from Hibernian Dragon Slayers (green and yellow checkered guild colors, with a dragon) out hunting in Hadrians...I think this was my second time begin there ever..hehe. And what do we meet? A huge bulk of albs, you must have been like 3-4 full groups or something. I think we all died pretty fast though, although I ran around your AoE spells and to the back and started whacking some red caster. I got him down to 10% before you guys decided I had enough fun =op

I think maybe it was your defencegroup for relic, going for a camp at mmg?

You'll see very few of us in Thidranki because most of those of us who are there are Nightshades :D Unfortunately, the non-NS hibs tend to turn up in the battleground piecemeal, wander towards the hib bridge and get ganked by albs (or just pull the guards onto themselves - I mean wtf are some of these guys playing at?) long before they ever see a troll or kobold's ugly face. Fortunately, its a Darwinian process - the hibernians in 'grown-up' RvR are smarter and better organised than that (at least some of the time...)

I do my best when in Thidranki to hunt middies when I can, so you guys don't feel left out. Take a wander around and you'll see me - or at least you'll see:

Tremayne hits you for 169 damage!
You are hit for 7 damage!
You are poisoned!
You are hit for 26 damage!

And then the fun begins :p

Hibernians have the worst timing (from a Midgard perspective) in Odin's Gate. Whenever a significant Albion force is at their mile gate, I've found a force of Hibernians coming from the other way, leaving us sandwiched. It's probably down to port timings into our beloved frontiers.

Saturday night, during the Albion relic raid, I was trapped for around two minutes between the two mile gates with a significant Albion force on one side, and a significant Hibernian force on the other. I have NO idea how I got out of that one alive, it was possibly the most exhilirating time I've had on the frontiers.

On Monday evening last when one Midguard Guild took 6 keeps, 5 undefended.

Server population 1622, Hibernia 228. Peaked at 264. I checked server when went ld and it rose to about 1680ish.

No-one in Emain and no-one Anon on guild lists of all the guilds I did /who.

In fact it was so overwhelming that 6 of the 8 lvl 50's logged.

I didn't and never do, but to those that don't like planned raids,
stop and think re the above numbers.

We came back later and took them back.

BTW I have been to Hadrians a few times and have never ever seen an ALB. It's so dead, we never go.

Might explain that one too.

:) :)

See a few albs Emain. On Friday last, over 90 people from all three realms early evening. Nice fights as always.

Slar don't forget to mention that we took out at least 20-25 of them before the albs resorted to the usual zerg attack, and even then very few of them were left standing after... they even missed the fact that everyones favourite lurk ranger Revminster was shooting them up the arse long after they thought they had won the battle :D

to be honest jadow, with the no.s we have almost anything is a zerging tactic against us.

how can we contend with forces that are twice to three times our no.s? and mostly higher lvl too.<we bring low lvls along to get a taste of rvr>

so for now we will hide in shadow, try to impress people to come join us with tactics and bravery.and lure more people over to the green side.

Let me correct you a bit,our pretty small alliance was planning to take keep for long time and we certainly dont stop because there are no defenders ;) Probably good thing for us

I wish I wasn't right mate, but it was true. It was probably a bad time for Hibs. We had 2 lvl 50 online, but hey we do have a few more now.

One word - if Bee was playing on Prydwen, he'd hung himself out of utter boredom.
4 hours spent in Gorge and Mt. Collory and all i see is a couple of hib groups running at mach5 to Alline and a Mid hunter camping road to DL ;(
Became so bored, that sneaked in Alline and started cheering at hibs. Most amusing site - some RR3 hib warden turning as if trying to avoid pa from greycon ;)

No, the 8 I found were when I was solo. Could well have been HDS as I think they had emblems like you describe. There was a group of 4 green/grey to me (wiped), then a yellow hero and green druid pair (killed druid, hero vanished), then a yellow champion (killed), and a red chanter at the PK who I saw while suiciding.

That's a lot more than one word. :p Also back in the olden days a minstrel used to be able to camp the gorge in peace without seeing Bee, so I'm sure he can find other things to do. :p

about our server population, we rarely if ever have more than 300 ppl online at a time. However the spread of lvls is such that often we have 60+ lvl 40-50 ppl online, which is why you may get the impression there's more of us than there seems since when we go rvring many of those ppl will be there (as well as some lower lvls getting a taste of rvr)

where are they hidin??

last night Albs were heavily outnumbered 3 to1 or 4 to 1 all night... camped pk and amg forever, so whereever they were before. dunno how many times i had to look closeby to the mud.

Well played hibs!

Albs, we seriously need some tactics..

its kinda bizarre really, in thidranki its albs who are at the top of the food chain constantly, with mids coming behind hibs (imo). all those early days of camping our pk, everyone wants revenge in thidranki i reckon :)

you would get out of thidranki PKs if you didn't go down the bleedin front you know, try the sides (WOAH!!! NEW PLAN OF ACTION!)

Reason we get wiped in emain is cos everyone is playing their alts in thid :p

Myshra - shush! As Tremayne I had many happy times picking off single middies running straight down the road towards the mid bridge in Thidranki (and if I'd let them by they would only have delivered realm points to the alb group usually guarding the bridge...)

All that Snow and ice in Midgard must freeze the brains or something. Albs don't run straight down the road, most Hibernians don't run solo down their road, what is it with these Nordic lemmings? :D
