Regarding the issues raised in this thread, i.e when you see or suspect a cheater:

For goodness sake come to #bwadmins as soon as possible don't just sit in the game feeling miserable. Barrysworld has an amazing amount of active CS admins and the vast majotiry of the time the nasty little bleeder will be dealt with in a very final and hopefully humiliating way.
A few other rather obvious things you can do:
1 - Make a note of the cheater's wonid, so you can tell the admins when you report the suspected cheater. Admins love that.
2 - Remember to start your message in IRC with the cheater's name, hopefully wonid, the server and the nature of the suspected problem
3 - DON'T TELL the players on the server you are going to IRC to report a cheat.
4 - If you see someone join the server and you think they might be an admin, don't address them as such because again it can alert the cheater. Rest assured they will be onto the problem pretty damn quick if someone is cheating.
5 - Don't be impatient if an admin does arrive and not kick the cheater immediately. Admins do have to collect evidence to make sure the cheater NEVER comes back again. This can take a short time. There would be no point in just kicking the cheater only for them to come back the next day.
6 - If the cheater admits it in on screen text, take a condump having made sure you have typed 'status' into the console first. This is unlikely to help much but in theory it could.
7 - If an LPB joins a modem only server don't try to reason with them beyond asking them to leave (nicely) - if they don't leave they are f00ls and the only thing you can do is to come to #bwadmins on IRC. If an admin hears your request and the LPB is not kicked, that's probably because they are an admin. Most admins would simply kick the LPB remotely, and therefore very swiftly.
