Waste? When you get new shoes, do you keep the shoe box?

Went round a mates house today and he keeps all his trainers in their respective shoe box neatly stacked up & organised.

I throw the box away and just bung em in the cupboard. Can't be arsed with shoe racks.

Bit of both. I have 3 pairs of trainers I wear all the time they sit under my wardrobe. But I do have a shit load of other trainers that I have worn once or maybe never all in their boxes.

I mostly wear caterpillar boots, currently got 3 pairs on the go. I keep the boxes to store stuff in.

most recent purchase: pair of uber warm Sorel boots. I need a pair of casual trainers like Adidas or something, as my old ones are fucked. Also have a pair of fubar old rough terrain running shoes that I got in Norway that I also should bin. Other than that, two pairs of "neat" brown leather shoes that I pretend dress me well.

I rotate through three pairs of running shoes. One for running, when they get too worn out for running, they become everyday at work, when they start to fall apart I wear them for painting and sailing at work. When a new pair of running shoes is bought the oldest pair go in the skip.

I also have steel boots for when work demands, and outside work in the winter.

I have a pair of black shiny shoes which work for work meetings, weddings and funerals.

I do have a pair of cycling shoes too.

No. I don't keep any of the boxes.
