When you come from home from uni?

It's a weird thing, they sorta split off into different groups (5 of them stayed together) after a falling out and that was that so to speak. Me being in Cheltenham, coming back and like 'hai mates, pub in 15?' was like a bit.. ah right, nice to see I was told yer werent buds anymore, where am I in this again?

same thing happened to me hehe, everytime i went home for summer it was like walking on a mine field trying to work out who was friends with who etc, frankly cant be bothered anymore so barely see most of them these days

Ahem..i agree. Friends who disappear, due to you being away from somewhere, or even friends who don't contact you and expect you to initialise everything, are no friends.

True friends, those worth spending money, worry and time on, ask for nothing and stay there even if you're a complete dick

It's even more annoying when you get to be friends with couples, you feel like a f*cking kid in a divorce settlement when it comes time to choose sides. Ofcourse i don't, ever, and tell people that if they can't take me being friends with X, they can bugger off. Also, "no bullshit about your ex" is a nice rule to make clear. Works with ex buddies too.
