Well this month's certainly been a bit of a fast one.

Started off with my work experience placement with my college for a week as an IT Techie, so I go there for a week and have a fantastic time, and was told to hand in my CV on the friday! Well I thought that was nice.

Got a letter off the bloke who was supervising me, at the bottom something made my heart sink a little was the fact that he said "If it were not for his studies, Jason would be highly considered for a full time placement here".

So I was a little put down by that, however the week after I get an application form on my door step which made me smile a bit, so I filled it out and sent it back and then I got a call the following week for an interview.

Really nice interview, was with two of the guys I worked with while I was there so I was a quite relaxed, so I finished up, walked off to work at Makro (Like 5 mins round the corner), and carry on with the rest of my week and was expecting a call on friday, surely enough I get it but at a bad time as i'm right in the middle of serving someone when they rang me!

So I naturally panic and finish serving as fast as possible and legged it to the back desk to ring em back, I have a chat with the HR manager and she drops it "We'd like to offer you the job!"

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

in 4 weeks I shall no longer be a sponging student, hurrah!

No summer hols like now but I think i'd rather be earning myself a wad, so yeah.

I'm rather fucking happy!

11.5k starting, that's on the probation period, I think it's going up quite sharply on a sliding scale up to 15k.

It seems to lean towards Network administration which is perfect, I'll be managing the network and workstations, accounts, privledges, maintenance, updates and such.

Nah, nothing that's ranged around a company. Just sticking to fixing peon machines. Going to be looking for jobs from the end of this college year (Got 1 left, starting in Sept) Then I'll start looking around here... Seen a few which - from reading the replies in this thread - seem like simillar jobs.
